The Divine Divas team together, smiling and laughing

Meet the people who’ll know your story.

You’ll know who is listening, who will welcome you to the Old Methodist Church and who stays beside you when you see your photographs.

An experience centred around you.

From the moment you speak to us, the things you share become part of your experience. Your hopes, your nerves, what you want to feel, and what matters to you are carried through every part of your time with us. Our team each brings something different - and together, we create an experience that feels personal, considered and completely yours.

Nerves are normal

You don't have to walk through the door feeling confident. Hair, makeup and talks with the team give you time to relax, get comfortable and start to feel like yourself. Then, when it's time to photograph you, we'll guide you through every step. You never have to know how to pose. That's our job.

Bespoke Artwork designed to keep that flame alight

The Fine Art we create for you is entirely designed around you - your story, your taste, your home; what’s going to still make you feel powerful in five years’ time. Your Design Consultant will be there every step of the way so that your artwork feels as individual as the woman it was created for - and every bit as extraordinary.

Who you’ll meet.

Meet the people who help you prepare, photograph you and work with you on your artwork.

Jo, CEO and Design Consultant at Divine Divas

Jo

CEO & Design Consultant

Divine Divas is very close to my heart. I’ve seen the impact it can have on women and couples - from changing careers and finding confidence to saving marriages and, sometimes, simply learning to own who they are. Before Divas, I trained in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) and as a Life Coach so I have always been inspired by the power of mindset, which is why Divine Divas is not just about photography but a whole experience crafted to work on an internal level too. My role here is both managing the business and helping you decide how you’d love to display your artwork. I still get such a buzz from seeing that moment when you first see your photographs. Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me walking Jaspa, at yoga, or cooking something yummy and healthy!

Neill, CEO and Head Photographer at Divine Divas

Neill

CEO & Head Photographer

I’ve been a photographer all my life, beginning with a distinction in Photography at Guildford and winning the Observer Photographic Award before going freelance. I went on to work for leading London magazines including Harper’s & Queen, before moving to Bath and eventually creating our beautiful Old Methodist Church studio. Today, alongside a lifetime of experience, I’m studying for an MA in Fine Art Photography at Bath Spa University. It gives me the opportunity to explore new ideas and ways of working, which I love bringing back into the studio and sharing with our photographers. I still have a genuine passion for photography and love creating artwork for women that I know can mean so much to them.

Jess, Studio Director and Design Consultant at Divine Divas

Jess

Studio Director and Design Consultant

My job here has many fabulous parts; running the studio, looking after our marketing, guiding people before they come in, and designing Artwork for our lovely Divas. I genuinely love what we do. This studio has a magic in it; helping people remember who they are is a privilege I never forget. With training in Mental Health First Aid and introductory counselling skills, I’m always awed by the confidence and self-belief that can grow from a Boudoir experience. Outside of work, you’ll find me embroidering or telling my - very beautiful - cat just how beautiful he is. (I also run the Divas Spicy Book Club - just ask me on the day if you’d like to join!)

Jesse, Photographer and Production Manager at Divine Divas

Jesse

Photographer and Production Manager

I’ve been with Divine Divas since 2002, working as both photographer and Production Manager, so I get to see your photographs through from the moment I press the shutter to the finished artwork. I love creating beautiful artwork that makes people feel amazing about themselves, and seeing women reconnect with the parts of themselves that can get lost amongst work, children and everyday life. Outside the studio, I’m a husband and dad to twins, and still find time for photography and playing softball with my wife in Bristol.

Sarah, Client Executive at Divine Divas

Sarah

Client Executive

I’m like a pig in muck when I’m listening to our incredible Divas, and I love helping you recognise the amazing qualities you already have. My own Divine Divas Boudoir experience helped me reclaim my body and sense of identity after I’d lost myself, which is why I’m so passionate about what this experience can give you. I also work as a trauma-informed Coach so I absolutely recognise and love the power of a nourishing experience like this! I work from home overlooking beautiful hills, usually with a cup of tea, plenty of snacks and two very fluffy Ragdoll cats keeping me company.

Kelsey, Client Executive and Make-Up Artist at Divine Divas

Kelsey

Client Executive and Make-Up Artist

I’ve worked in the beauty industry for several years, and I love helping women feel confident, beautiful and completely themselves. One of my favourite parts of working at Divine Divas is seeing that confidence grow from the very first conversation to the moment someone walks out of the studio. As someone who has struggled with confidence herself, being part of that journey is something I never take for granted.

Shannon, Photographer and Make-Up Artist at Divine Divas

Shannon

Photographer and Make-Up Artist

As a Hair & Makeup Artist, I love helping women feel incredible in their own skin. I’ve been on my own confidence journey too, so I know how meaningful that transformation can be - and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it, from the first conversation to the moment you leave the studio. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me getting creative with makeup or in the cinema with a tonne of chocolate.

Jaspa, Studio Dog and Employee of the Month at Divine Divas

Jaspa

Studio Dog and Employee of the Month

When you arrive at the studio, the grown-ups usually keep me away from you, which I find very frustrating. I’ve recently been rechristened Ninja Dog because I have an exceptional ability to sneak past them and cuddle with you on the sofa. Frankly, I think they’re being rather unfair.

“What Stood Out Was Just How Caring Everyone Was.”

Leah’s experience

What stood out was just how caring everyone was. Everybody was so nice about everything; they make you feel so at ease.

We’ll show you what to do.

You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose, or even feeling at all confident. For over 16 years now, we have helped women transform how they feel. We’re here to look after you every step of the way. And, don’t forget. Nerves are powerful - this is you pushing yourself out of the day to day.
