What started as a leap far outside her comfort zone became a confidence-building experience she never expected, and - we’re so glad to say - the perfect wedding morning surprise for her husband!

Why did you decide to book your Boudoir Experience?
I'm 31, and I decided to book a boudoir shoot for two main reasons.
The first was because I wanted the confidence boost that everyone says comes from the experience. My friend and Maid of Honour had done a shoot a few years ago and said it was the best thing she'd ever done for herself. Her husband also absolutely loved the photos.
I was about three months away from my wedding, and I've always hated being in front of a camera. The thought of having photos taken of me all day on my wedding day made me really nervous. Ironically, I thought a boudoir shoot might help me feel more comfortable in front of the camera by completely pushing me out of my comfort zone. I also hoped it would help me see myself the way my partner sees me and build my self-confidence.
And how did you find your Divine Divas Experience?
From the moment I walked in, the whole Divas team was incredible. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable, constantly building me up with their compliments, positivity, and amazing hair and makeup skills.
When it came to the actual shoot, Jesse was fantastic. He made me feel so relaxed and confident that I completely forgot I was standing in front of a camera, in my underwear, with someone I'd only just met! The part I was dreading the most was seeing the photos afterwards, I never expected to love them as much as I did. Jesse is truly an incredible photographer.
I also thought I'd feel overwhelmed trying to choose which photos to include in my album, but Jess made the whole process so easy. She was so supportive and patient, offering lovely compliments and honest opinions that really helped me select my favourites.
The entire experience with the Divas team was amazing from start to finish, and I would recommend it to anyone.
And of course, this was partially a gift for your husband-to-be. Tell us about that!
My second reason for booking the shoot was that I thought it would make the perfect surprise gift for my husband-to-be on the morning of our wedding. He's my biggest supporter, my number one hype man, and I know he wishes I had more confidence in myself. I also knew he'd never expect me to do something like this!
My Maid of Honour gave him the album on the morning of our wedding and recorded his reaction for me. It was even better than I'd hoped. He absolutely loved it! Three weeks later, he's still talking about how surprised and amazed he is that I was brave enough to do something like this. He still looks through the album all the time and constantly tells me how incredible the photos are and how beautiful I look.
Thank you so much to the entire Divas team. This experience gave me so much more confidence than I ever expected, and it created something that both my husband and I will treasure forever.
