Confidence is a big thing. I have had my fair share of ups and downs, like anyone else. However, after becoming widowed and being on my own, it seemed that feeling confident became even more difficult. There were more bad times than good, then Covid hit everyone hard.

If in the end you are still struggling, please realize that the way you feel and treat yourself teaches others how to relate to themselves. Your daughters, nieces, students, colleagues and any person that looks to you for guidance and understanding will remember the criticism you give yourself.
