What Should I Wear To My Boudoir Experience?
The great thing about Boudoir is that there are so many options. You can wear anything from a glamorous evening dress to being completely naked!
WE’RE HERE TO HELP
When you book in, we will discuss which outfits will work best during your shoot. It’s personal taste but it’s also about body shapes and what makes you feel confident. A good idea could be to look at our photos on our website and social media at what other women with similar bodies have worn and choose something similar. Saying that though, don’t be afraid to be bold! You choose what makes YOU feel good.
DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT
The obvious choice is lingerie - which most women choose to go for. Whether it be stockings and suspenders, a beautiful matching set, a corset, a body or something similar - all of these are lovely. Bear in mind though that you have time for 2 or 3 looks so why not do something different with each look? One look could be lingerie, the other could be a glamorous evening look and even nude - if you want to go for it!
FRONT AND BACK
Whatever you choose, look at it from the front and back. We want to get some booty and back shots and if it’s a solid bit of fabric it’s not going to be as interesting as it could be. You may want to check the crotch too…it can be a bit of a shock if you try the outfit on for the first time in the studio and realise it’s crotchless!
…BUT I HATE MY STOMACH
Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of your tummy. Most of our Divas hate their stomach. We’re going to be stretching and lighting you to make the most of it and we want you to know you can embrace who you are - with or without abs! However, if you really don’t want to show it why not choose a body, chemise, robe or shirt? A loose top or jumper is also lovely and creates a super relaxed vibe! OUR NO.1 BASQUE TIP
Basques look great if you go for a proper boned one but, be warned, they are more tricky to put on! Plus, our top tip? When choosing a basque go for a long one that doesn’t dig into your belly!
FANCY DRESS FOR ADULTS
This is also a chance to pull out the dressing up! We've had maids, circus ringmasters, sexy witches and cowgirl outfits, burlesque performers, fur coats and mild bondage outfits too… Plus, anything vintage usually works really well. If you are creative this is your chance to let your imagination run wild!
ACCESSORIES
Accessories can really make a photo so have a think about what you can bring. Something that is special to you or has sentimental value is perfect. It may not come to you straight away, we can help you discover ideas on the phone. ewellery, hats, a hobby item or something of your partners are always good ideas! We have some things in the studio so feel free to ask before you buy.
THE HIGHER THE HEEL, THE BETTER
Don’t forget to pack some very high heels! You don’t need to walk in them - they’ll just make your legs look amazing! (We have most sizes in the studio if you don’t own them). If you’re not a heels fan, other women have chosen to go for thigh length boots or something similar!
STOCKINGS & SUSPENDERS
If you like stockings bring them too but, if you’re wearing suspenders or a basque, make sure you have proper stockings not hold ups! Getting hold ups in a suspender clasp is a challenge! Waspies, a body or Basque with suspenders are more flattering than your traditional thin suspender belt!
NOT TOO TIGHT!
Make sure your lingerie isn’t too tight or it will dig in and leave marks!
TREAT YOURSELF!
Use this as an excuse to buy yourself some gorgeous new underwear or you will be rummaging through the wardrobe to find outfits. You don’t want to bring anything you would wear to work; you want to wear things that are that little bit more sensual and express your personality! Use this as an opportunity to ask yourself questions about what you love about yourself or what you find sexy; this can be a good time for self-discovery!
