Photos That Showcase Nearly ALL Our Styles

The most important thing to say here is that this blog is not a comprehensive list of all our styles. Why? Because there are as many styles as women who come to us.

Our photos, although possible to be grouped into genres, are all tailored to you and your personality. Every Diva who comes to us is a different person and their photoshoot is always a reflection of their own individuality. Their experience is a cumulation of their reasons for coming to us, what they express on their discovery calls, the mood-boards they create, where they want their artwork to be displayed, the ideas we surprise them with etc… So, if you don’t see something that resonates with you on this list, don’t panic.

This blog is just here to get the creative juices flowing (what a gross phrase) so use this for some inspiration and if you have an idea that you don’t see on here, just tell us about it! We’ll make sure it comes to life.

Classic Glamorous Boudoir

This is the classic Boudoir style; think chaise lounge, think lingerie, think glamour and elegance. In some ways, this is a signature look of ours. It makes everyone feel gorgeous, it oozes confidence, and it’s perfect for Divas who don’t have any specific ‘vision’ in mind and just want to walk out of here feeling incredible in themselves! Adding a touch of Hollywood lighting can always elevate the moment too.

Ultra Sexy

For the Divas who want an outlet to express and capture the sexual, uninhibited, bold side of themselves…

Everyone has a personal understanding of what ‘sexiness’ is and, personally, I feel like there is a certain level of sexiness present in every style but for the women who want something daring then there are lots of options. The sensuality and intimacy of the shower shoot is incredible. Using chains, riding crops, handcuffs, bondage etc in your shoot is another way to explore that world. Cheekier detail shots of your body are also something we’d recommend. In reality though, all of these ideas have one thing in common - intentionality. By that I mean, any photo can be made searingly sexy by your mindset and certain small decisions, i.e instead of having your hand by your side, choose to place your hand gently across your neck or playfully ‘undressing’ or, instead of looking down, make direct eye contact with the camera. It’s the things like this that really add fire to your shoot.

Earthy, Womanly, Spiritual, Stripped Back, Liberated

Women who look for this style tend to be wanting to capture something that feels almost sacred or spiritual. Boudoir here is a love letter to their body; it’s a way to connect with and celebrate womanhood. Often these people choose to steer away from typical ideas of glamour and keep things quite stripped back - e.g choosing to go bare foot instead of wearing heels and making those small decisions that help the main focus be the energy, the body, the individual. It’s a very personal expression; a way to break away from the mould of what society defines as sexy and instead step into a very natural, earthy power.

Sculptural, Artistic, Often Nude and Black & White

This style is almost abstract. It’s about creating something that wouldn’t feel amiss in an Art Gallery. It’s perfect for any person who wants to celebrate their body, and wants to have themselves on display in home - but doesn’t necessarily want everyone who walks into their space knowing it’s them. That’s because the focus is less on the face and more on the natural artistry and beauty of a woman’s shape - the curves, the flow. It harks back to Fine Art and the history of the nude; it’s still sensual, personal and gorgeously classic. There are lots of way to do this too; something we’ve loved doing in the past is using our projector within the shoot to create something incredibly individual - as you can see above.

Candid and Casual / Girl Next Door

(This is slightly different but you can always go for more simple underwear and it looks amazing too!)

Do you want something that doesn’t feel too posed? That feels modern and casual? This style tends to be lighter in style and in tone. Obviously the photoshoot is in a studio, but we understand that women who opt for this look want something that almost feels as if the photo was taken by a friend. Even though it’s not necessarily candid, shots by our ‘window’ can always give a gorgeous ‘Sunday morning’ feeling to it as well. Take a look at the photos above - it feels like a sun drenched bedroom. Beautiful. If you’re looking for this style it can really help if you wear more simple, casual underwear. A large white shirt or a slouchy jumper can also be amazing!

Fun, Cheeky, Maybe A Retro Feel?

This look moves away from anything too sultry and is instead about expressing joy, cheekiness, outgoing-ness. Think brighter backgrounds, natural laughter, brighter colours, sparkle - anything that conveys a happiness and care-free feeling. We could always incorporate a burlesque feel to it as well - bring your nipple tassels!

Sporty and Athletic

We know that sport is a huge part of a lot of Diva’s lives, in many different forms. Something a lot of women say to us is that finding exercise, and thus feeling energised and healthy, is what empowered them to book their Boudoir shoot in the first place so it makes sense that a lot of women want to incorporate this into their experience. So if you like the sound of this, make sure to wear your gym gear and bring in your appropriate kit (i.e if you’re a horse rider, wear your jodhpurs). We can pair this with potentially a more relaxed scene (i.e wooden floors rather than a traditional studio setting) and create moments that are less about glamour and more about strength, capability, and ability.

Dark and Moody

If you’ve seen our sultry standing poses against a wall, or photos of a Diva on what we call the steel, and like the look of those then you might find that these photos resonate with you. These are the photoshoots that are striking, sexy, confident, classy… The list goes on. These are an absolute Divine Diva staple.

Alternative

I cannot express this enough, you do NOT have to wear lingerie. Bring YOU to the photoshoot. If lingerie isn’t what makes you feel like yourself, then don’t wear it. Do you feel sexy in a dress? In jeans? In cos-play? In a cowboy hat? Wearing nothing but a t-shirt? Do you want to photographed with your books? Whilst gaming? Whatever it is, that is so totally fine. More than fine. It’s exciting. It means we can create something that is tailored to YOU.

Badass!

Do you want something that feels powerful, a bit edgy and strong? Or maybe you have a hobby or an outfit that makes you feel like a badass? This is the time to bring THAT feeling out. We’ve had Divas wear their leathers that they wear on their motorbikes, we can celebrate beautiful tattoos, we can do anything! If you want, we can we stay away from the more stereotypical ideas of femininity (lace and sparkles for example) and instead use coloured lighting, wooden flooring… The list goes on. If it makes you feel like yourself, then we love it.

Classic Portrait

If you’re looking for something that is perhaps less ‘Boudoir’, that’s also totally fine! In fact, we have a new backdrop that is perfect for anyone looking for that. You could wear an evening dress or maybe even something that represents your hobbies if you wanted to celebrate your passions, for example if you love painting you could wear your messy overalls and bring in paint brushes? There is SO much you could do.

As I said right at the beginning, this is in no way a finished list. Remember not everyone says yes to us posting their photos and we couldn’t possibly show you EVERY style of Boudoir because it really would be a case of us having to share every single photoshoot! The most important thing to get from this is that Boudoir is 1) varied and that 2) any style is possible!

If you want to start thinking about what style you’d go for, why not take our quiz?! Or just get in touch - you know us - we always love to chat!
