Boudoir FAQ’s
How would you describe your photography style?
Generally speaking, we are very passionate about people feeling bold and liberated in their bodies and our style reflects that. We also have a focus on creating artistic and elegant pieces of work.
Having said that though, we are equally passionate, if not more so, about not defining what ‘sexiness’ or ‘beauty’ is for anyone.
At its core, Boudoir is about celebrating who YOU are; the whole point of your Discovery Calls is that you have time to connect with and enjoy what makes you, YOU - and then the photography itself is a reflection of that. We tailor the experience to your personality.
Boudoir is anything that makes you feel like YOU. It can be sultry with lingerie, sporty with gym clothes, casual in jeans, qwerky and powerful in cosplay… We just want to make sure we do what feels good and authentic to you.
Do you do one photography style, or different ones?
As just mentioned, we tailor the experience to you and your personality so there are as many different styles as there are Divas who come to us! However, it’s definitely worth knowing that we have lots of different themes.

Will my photos be shared online?
Your photos will ONLY be shared online with your permission. At the end of your session, you can decide whether you are happy or not for us to share your photos. It is totally up to you and we would never share anyone’s photos without their permission.
I have acne, cellulite etc, will you retouch my photos?
So the very short answer of this question is, yes, we can. We know spots have a great habit of popping up exactly when they are not needed! Moreover, we are not here to tell you the relationship you should have with your body or your photos, so if you would like your artwork to be retouched then we are happy to do that.
However, what we will say is that the job of Boudoir is not to make you look younger or smaller; it is about celebrating who you are, as you are. Everyone has wrinkles or spots or cellulite; we’re human beings, not mannequins! It doesn’t make us any less beautiful to have stretch marks or wrinkles, it makes us who we are. So, with that in mind, we will always encourage people to love their photos, and their bodies, as they are.
I look at the other Divas and feel like I will never look or feel like that. Is that common?
We have heard this SO many times. Remember though, the women on the website said this about themselves too - before they were on the website! A lot of women believe they will be the exception to the rule or that the women they see are all younger or thinner than them. The women are all website are not models; they’re all normal people; Mums and Grandparents, from 22 years old to 86 years old; size 6 to size 26.
We fundamentally believe that Boudoir is for every size. There is no size limit to beauty, ever.
What support is out there during my Divine Divas Experience?
One thing we really recommend doing is joining our Divine Divas VIP Group. It’s a community of over 3,000 women and non-binary people, most of whom have been to us, and it’s where people post questions, stories etc… We often post behind-the-scenes in there as well. It’s just such an empowering, positive space and really helps calms any worries!
Also, remember we are here to support you! Please use the team. Call us, whatsapp us, come visit us in the studio before your day if you want to! We’re a friendly bunch and there are no silly questions.
Do I bring my own lingerie?
Yes. We photograph two looks, and we will help you choose what those looks could be if you’d like. Remember it doesn’t have to be lingerie; it can be a white t-shirt, sports gear, jeans… anything!

Do I do my own hair and make-up?
No, a professional makeover is included in your Boudoir experience so make sure you turn on the day with no make-up on your face and clean, dry hair.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is £250, and this includes the below things.
Your Discovery calls, because understanding the "Real You" is at the core of your experience. Your Discovery Calls are your space to connect with or discover the ‘YOU’ who feels confident in yourself and your body. It’s also where we get to know what is important to you and what you truly want to celebrate or reignite.
If you’d like us to, we also speak to a loved one of yours so we can learn more about what makes you YOU. This is especially powerful if you sometimes struggle to see yourself clearly.
You will also have wardrobe and styling preparation calls; as well as a call with your photographer.
The session fee also includes your 5 hour-experience in our luxury studio in Bath, which entails:
A professional makeover, including hair styling from our expert make-up artist.
A fully-guided photographic experience where we will capture the boldest you. Our photographers our experts at making sure you feel relaxed and at ease behind the camera.
Access to our extensive wardrobe of props.
Your Design Consultation - this is the culmination of the experience - the cinematic reveal of your photos, and a moment that will stay with you forever. Your expert Design Consultant will guide you all the way, making decisions easy, helping you to choose your favourite photos and design artwork that you can proudly display in your home.
Artwork is purchased separately in your Design Consultation. Prints start from £250, wall arts from £950, and albums, treasure boxes and wall collections from £1900. You are welcome to spread payments.
Do I buy artwork separately?
Yes, artwork is not included in the session fee. You select and purchase your artwork on the day of your session in your Design Consultation. You are more than welcome to spread payments for up to 12 months.
Can I buy digital photos?
We focus on physical artwork, as our studio is tailored around long-term impact. Artwork, and the reinforcement it brings from having something powerful and positive you see everyday, is all part of that. For that reason, we do not offer digitals as a standalone product.
We want you to walk away with something you will still be cherishing in 10 years time. I don’t know about you, but I have lots of incredibly meaningful photos that I have taken over the years but unless I print them in some form - I never, ever look at them! They stay on my phone (and then gone forever when my phone inevitably breaks!)
What do most people spend?
You may not be surprised to hear that everyone tends to fall in love with all of their photos. People tend to go for something for the wall, and an album or treasure box. So with that in mind, the average spend is between £1000 to £2500. Having said that, please remember our artwork starts from £250 and we know that everyone has different budgets! We will work with you to create something perfect for you.
Can I bring a friend or partner to the Design Consultation?

What is the rescheduling policy?
You have 48 hours after booking your date to reschedule. After then, we take a £50 rescheduling fee. We try to be as flexible as possible but last minute rescheduling can be really tough for a small business like ours!
Is Boudoir just for women?
No! We welcome couples, non-binary and trans Divas. We are a safe, inclusive space who believe that everyone has the right to enjoy and celebrate who they are.

Where do the Divine Divas Experiences take place?
They take place in our beautiful renovated church in Twerton, Bath, UK. Our postcode is BA2 1BZ.

We’re travelling from afar, do you have any hotel or restaurant recommendations?
Yes, the whole studio are from Bath so we have lots of recommendations that we’re happy to send to you. Lots of Divas travel from afar to come to us so we have compiled a list of hotel recommendations here.
When do I get my artwork?
If you pay in full on the day of your session, it takes 3-5 weeks for your artwork to arrive. If you do a payment plan, your artwork will be ready at the end of your payment plan.
What else should I know?
I would really want Divas to know that this isn’t about a ‘nice day’ or one photoshoot. Everything we do is centred around long-term transformation. We have developed these techniques over 16 years, working with thousands of women, to help fast-track confidence and really focus in on what true, authentic self-celebration means. The discovery call team is made up people with qualifications in life-coaching, mental-health first aid and Neuro-Linguistic Programming; we all have a deep and genuine passion for helping people feel powerful in themselves, and know how to achieve exactly that too!
I would also add that the experience is made more powerful when you make sure you give yourself uninterrupted time to really partake in the Discovery Calls! They’re a big part of what makes the experience what it is. I know it can be easier said than done to give yourself uninterrupted time but it is important, and YOU are important too. You deserve it!
